As an author in Create, you can add an external link to another web page into your learning content. This allows you to direct a learner to additional content, outside of iQualify, that may enhance their understanding of a concept or provide additional insight.

How to:

To add an external link to your learning content, enter Editing mode and click the Link button in the text editor toolbar.

Click the Insert link option to add a URL and its corresponding link text. A checkbox can be selected to open the link in a new tab when it is clicked.

You can unlink text by clicking the cursor on the linked text, navigating to the Link button in the text editor toolbar, and selecting the Unlink button.

โ€‹Note: It is not recommended to use mailto link since it opens the default email client. With so many people now using web based email services without clients, it is best to simply add the email address as text and have learners copy and paste into the browser or whichever email client you use.
