Do you want to get more money onto PulseChain?
This article explains how to OnRamp to and OffRamp from PulseChain with the lowest fees possible. To do this, you will of course need a Coast account. Once you have that set up, please follow the steps below to lock your $WAIT tokens and get up to 75% off your fees right across the platform.
1. Fee Structure
Coast is designed to give you the cheapest possible OnRamp to PulseChain. But there's a small catch. To get the best rates on Mints, Burns and Buys, you will need to lock $WAIT tokens on the Fees page.
The table below shows the cost to perform these three core functions on the Coast platform, Mint ($CST), Burn ($CST) and Buy ($PLS, $PLSX, $HEX and $WAIT)

Tier 4
The base Tier. Tier 4 lets you Mint for 1%, Burn for 4% and Buy for 1% when you lock 0 $WAIT tokens.
Tier 3
The third Tier. Tier 3 lets you Mint for 0.75%, Burn for 3% and Buy for 0.75% when you lock 1,000 $WAIT tokens.
Tier 2
The second Tier. Tier 2 lets you Mint for 0.5%, Burn for 2% and Buy for 0.5% when you lock 10,000 $WAIT tokens.
Tier 1
The best Tier. Tier 1 lets you Mint for 0.25%, Burn for 1% and Buy for 0.25% when you lock 100,000 $WAIT tokens.
2. Get $WAIT
Ok so you want to save up to 75% on the Coast platform? First you will need to get yourself some $WAIT tokens. There are 3 ways to do this:
Buy
Our direct Buy feature allows you to Buy $WAIT directly on the Coast app. There are two steps involved. First, enter the amount of USD you want to spend and then click the "Check Price" button.
This will initiate a price call to Piteas.io and return the amount of $WAIT that you will receive when you execute the Buy order. To complete the Buy order, simple click the Buy button again.
Within a few minutes, your $WAIT tokens will be sent to your linked Wallet. Then you can move on to Locking your $WAIT.
Swap
If you already have some assets on PulseChain, like $CST for example, you can swap these tokens for $WAIT on our Swap page. This is a simple dex trade. You will need to have some PLS to pay for the gas fees.
Refer a Friend
The final way to get $WAIT tokens is to refer friends to Coast. You can do this by sharing the link that you will find on the Refer a Friend page. This nice thing about this method of obtaining $WAIT is that it's 100% Free. When the person you refer does either a Mint, Buy or Burn you will BOTH become eligible to receive 5,000 $WAIT tokens that are paid out weekly on Friday mornings.
2. Lock $WAIT
Got your $WAIT tokens? Excellent. Let's lock them to get you the discounts.
Go to the Fees page: https://app.0xcoast.com/fees
Select the Fee Tier you want to be in based on the. amount of $WAIT you have in your connected wallet.
Approve the locking contract the 'spend' your $WAIT tokens
Lock your $WAIT tokens in the locking contract
If you have done this correctly, your options for locking tokens will be either reduced removed from the left hand side of the screen and the Fee Summary will show the number of Tokens you have locked as well as your current fee tier.
