Asset grading sets are defined in Return Bird and support the receiving and grading process in Return Dock.

General

A default grading set contains 4 grading checks (labels). A grading set always contains at least 2 grading checks. The label will be shown in the grading process in Return Dock. The chosen answer will define the product grade and associated disposition type. The allowed disposition types can be defined in account master data settings.

If you want to have assets automatically pre-calculated with the results of the grading, enter the percentage values you want. If you do not use these optional values, the calculated asset value of a graded product will be equal to the product price.

The sequence of grading checks in Return Dock is:

Allocation

Asset grading sets can be set up and allocated to:

  • Return policy: general asset grading rules for a return policy and valid for all products in a return with the specified return policy.

  • Product group: specific grading rules for a product group and valid for all products in a return that belong to the specified product group.

  • Product: specific grading rules for a product and valid for all specified products in a return.

AND relation with Product

AND relation with Product group

There is an AND relation between the Product Group and Product:

  • When you specify a Product, the associated Product group can but does not have to be selected. The allocation will be done at the Product level.

  • When you specify a Product (from a certain product Group), you should not specify another Product Group. In that case, the allocation will fail.
