🛠️ Recent Maintenance & Fixes (All Users)

A summary of recent improvements and fixes released over the past few months

Transition: The previous dashboard remains available for the next two weeks while you adjust to the new layout.

Your New Home Dashboard

Who should read: All Users

What's new: The home page is completely redesigned with a new layout that gives you instant visibility into your center's operations. When you log in, you'll see an Overview tab with key metrics, plus dedicated tabs for each module you use.

Why it matters: You now have instant visibility into your center's operations without clicking through multiple pages. Data is organized by module with visual charts, making it easy to spot trends, track compliance, and identify what needs attention.

How it works: The dashboard displays modules and data based on your profile permissions and the features enabled for your center. For example, the Documents tab will only appear if your profile has access to Documents, while the Policies and Procedures tab will only appear if the module is enabled for your center.

Overview Tab - Your Center at a Glance

Who should read: All User

What’s new: The new Overview tab brings key information and everyday shortcuts in one place. See items that need your attention, quickly start a checklist or log an incident, and access your registers directly from the Home Dashboard.

Why it matters: The Overview makes it easier to see what needs your attention and access the tasks you use most without navigating through multiple pages. You can also customize the Overview to display the information most relevant to your role.

What you see: A snapshot of your center with key metrics and quick access shortcuts:

  • Items Needing Attention Cards:

Things that need your action (unsigned incidents, overdue checklists, etc.)

  • Quick Action Shortcuts:

    • Start a Checklist - jump straight to selecting a center/room and checklist template

    • Log an Incident - skip to the incident type selection

    • View Registers - shortcuts to Checklists, Incidents, Tickets, Documents, Policies, and Hazards registers

  • Customize Your Overview:

    • Click the settings cog at the top to:

      • Show or hide specific cards based on the information you want to see

      • Choose which details are displayed within each card (e.g., show completed/overdue, or just show total)

      • Change the layout from multiple cards to a single-page view

Each card is clickable - tap any count to jump directly to that register with the filter already applied.

New Module Graphs

Who should read: All User

What’s new: The new Home Dashboard introduces visual insights across modules that previously had limited or no graphical reporting. Tickets, Hazards, Documents, and Policies & Procedures now have dedicated graphs and breakdowns, making key information easier to understand at a glance.

Why it matters: Instead of relying mainly on registers and tables, you can now see patterns and important information visually. This makes it easier to understand status, priority, risk, expiry, completion, and other module-specific information without having to work through individual records.

What you can see:

  • Tickets – See tickets by status, priority, category, and center or room.

  • Hazards – View risks by risk score, action, room, or center.

  • Documents – Quickly see documents that are expired, expiring soon, incomplete, or completed.

  • Policies & Procedures – Keep track of active policies, upcoming or overdue reviews, and staff acknowledgements.

Module-Specific Tabs

Who should read: All User

What's new: The Home Dashboard is now organized into dedicated tabs for Checklists, Incidents, Tickets, Hazards, Documents, and Policies & Procedures, giving each module its own space for graphs, counts, and insights.

Why it matters: Instead of switching between different registers, you can quickly view trends, monitor activity, and find the information you need in one place. Every tab can also be filtered and customized to match the way you work.

What you see: Dedicated tabs for:

  • Checklists - visual insights into completion rates, scores, status breakdowns

  • Incidents - incident types, severity levels, categories, status

  • Tickets - ticket status, priority, categories

  • Hazards - risk scores, hazard locations

  • Documents - expiry status, completion status

  • Policies & Procedures - staff acknowledgements, review status

Each tab shows you data specific to that module, with graphs and counts you can filter and customize.

View Options:

  • Multi-Tab View - see graphs organized by tabs (default)

  • Single-Page View - everything on one long scrollable page (useful for centers with multiple monitors)

Customization Features Across All Tabs

Who should read: All User

What's new: Each user can customize the graphs, cards and widgets displayed on their dashboard. You can show or hide graphs, choose between available chart types, and adjust the dashboard to display the information most relevant to your role.

Why it matters: The dashboard can be customized to suit your role and the information relevant to your center. You can hide modules or metrics you do not need, making it easier to focus on the information you use most.

How it works:

On every tab, click the settings cog to:

  • Show/Hide Graphs - remove any graph you don't need

  • Switch Chart Types - switch between bar charts and donut charts

  • Customize Display - choose single-page or multi-tab view

Favorite Graphs and Widgets to Your Overview

Who should read: All User

What's new: Some graphs include a star icon. Click it to add that graph to your Overview tab. Your favorite graphs automatically appear on your Overview tab, so you can see your most important data without leaving the main page.

Why it matters: The Overview brings key information from across your modules into a single page, reducing the need to navigate between tabs. Each user can customize their Overview to display the information most relevant to their role.

Smarter Dashboard Filtering

Who should read: All User

What's new: Filters are available at the top of each module tab and can be used to refine the information displayed across all graphs on the page. Any filters applied will also carry through to exports, so the downloaded data reflects your selected view.

Why it matters: Finding the right information is now quicker and more focused. Data can be narrowed down by center, time, category, and other available filters without having to search through unrelated information or navigate between pages.

How it works:

  • Choose a center, date range, or category at the top of any tab

  • Watch all graphs on that tab update instantly

  • Filters stay applied until you clear them

  • Export with filters applied - download only the data you're looking at

Example: Filter to "Center A" and "May 2026". All graphs show only Center A data for May. If you export, you get only Center A checklists from May.

Filters Respect Permissions: Your filters only show data you have access to. If you don't have permission to view certain incidents or centers, they won't appear in your filtered results.

Excel Export for Checklists

Who should read: All User

What's new: The Checklists tab now includes an Export option, allowing completed and overdue checklist data to be downloaded as an Excel file. The export reflects any filters applied to the dashboard, so the downloaded data matches the information currently displayed.

Why it matters: Why it matters: The export makes it easier to share checklist information with your team, review trends, or keep records outside of 1Place. The Excel file includes the checklist data that matches your selected filters, giving you a more detailed view of completed and overdue checklists.

How it works:

  1. Apply any filters you need (center, date range, template)

  2. Click "Export"

  3. The file generates in the background

  4. Download it when ready from the Report Tasks section

The export respects all your active filters, so you only get the data you need.

Recent Maintenance & Fixes

  • To-Do List now shows Franchisee + Site Name: To-Do lists now display both the Center and Room name, making it much clearer which center you're working in when you have access to multiple sites with similar names.

  • Site name consistency across all areas: Fixed site name display so you always see both Center and Room name in the app, on emails, and across the web portal. No more confusion about which center information belongs to.

  • Profile history printing now shows historical data: Fixed the profile history print function to display historical changes, not just current information. Useful for auditing and compliance purposes.

  • Document Register Excel reports: You can now create Excel reports from the Document Register. Filter the data you want, select which columns to include, and download an Excel file for easy sharing with your team or for your records.

  • Health & Safety workflow improvements: Fixed the workflow so room-level staff can categorize and resolve minor incidents (like first aid incidents) directly at the room level. No need to escalate every incident - staff can mark room-level incidents as "Resolved" when appropriate.

The previous dashboard remains available for the next two weeks. You can use either one while you get familiar with the new layout. After two weeks, the new dashboard becomes your default.

Tips for Switching:

  • Spend a few minutes exploring the tabs

  • Customize your Overview by hiding cards you don't need

  • Add your most important graphs as favorites

  • Bookmark the pages you use most
