Hosting an event through EventiFi is all about turning your vision into a seamless, community backed experience, whether you’re planning a local music showcase, a workshop series, or a full scale conference. And we’ve got your back with everything from ticketing to payments and support.
But when an event crosses a certain threshold in sales specifically, $1,000 or more in total ticket volume, we require a one time onboarding and financial verification step. This ensures we can offer full front end ticketing and back end payment support without delays or risk to you or other attendees.
Why the Extra Step?
It’s simple: when ticket revenue exceeds $1,000, the responsibility and logistics scale up, so we verify just enough to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Here’s how it works:
For events under $1,000: You’ll only need standard platform verification (think ID check, event details, and payout method).
For events over $1,000: We’ll ask you to link a checking account via Plaid to unlock full support. This includes:
Direct ACH payments to you from ticket sales
The ability to pay vendors or co-hosts directly through 1Roof
Full transaction transparency and financial tracking
Built-in protection mechanisms for ticket holders and hosts alike
This isn’t about limiting access, it’s about making sure everyone involved in a high-value event is protected, supported, and operating with clear expectations.
What Does Plaid Access Give Us?
Using Plaid (a secure, industry standard tool), we can verify your checking account ownership and enable ACH transfers for smoother financial operations. We never see your full account details just enough to:
Confirm legitimacy for payouts
Enable fast, low fee transactions to and from your account
Reduce risk of fraud or event disruption
