Managing your delivery and pickup preferences in the 1Roof ecosystem is simple and centralized. All logistics related settings, whether you're borrowing, lending, mailing, or coordinating a locker drop, are managed directly through the “My Profile” section of the app. Here’s how to update each one:
1. Preferred Delivery Address (Where Items Are Sent to You)
This address is used when you select Mail as your delivery method in marketplaces like BookiFi or when receiving shipped items in Rentifi. To add or update your delivery address:
Go to My Profile
Tap on Preferred Delivery Address
Enter your full address, including apartment or unit number if applicable
Confirm and save
This is the default location where all mailed items will be sent unless updated. Make sure this is your most secure and frequently checked address, especially for book deliveries or shipped rental items.
2. Preferred Pickup Address (Where People Come to Get Items From You)
This address is used when you list an item for in person pickup. It tells borrowers where they’ll go to retrieve the item if they choose that method. To set it:
Navigate to My Profile
Select Preferred Pickup Address
Input the location (home, office, neutral pickup point, etc.)
Save the address
This helps streamline communication and eliminates the need to coordinate details each time you lend something out.
3. Preferred Locker Locations (Where You Can Drop Items Off for Others)
If you're lending items via Rentifi or BookiFi, you’ll often be able to use 1Roof’s smart locker network. To select lockers that are convenient for you:
In My Profile, scroll to Preferred Locker Locations
Use the map or search bar to browse available lockers in your area
Select one or multiple lockers that work for you (e.g., near your home, work, or transit stop)
Save your selections
When you list an item and choose “Locker” as your delivery method, your saved lockers will be auto suggested as drop-off points.
