1. Feature Availability
Schedule View is an organization-level module, not enabled by default.
To activate it:
Contact 3DPrinterOS Support via chat or at illia@3dprinteros.com
Once enabled, the “Schedule View” tab appears under Printers.
Org-level configuration options will become visible in your Organization → Printing settings.
2. Setup: Define Bed Cleaning (After-Print) Time
The Schedule View uses a “bed-cleaning delay” between jobs to make scheduling accurate.
In Organization Settings → Printing, scroll to:
Schedule View: After Print Delay (seconds)
Enter a default delay value (e.g. 180 for 3 minutes).
This value applies to all printers.
3. Open Schedule View
Navigate to Printers → Schedule view.
You’ll see:
One lane per printer
A timeline (scalable)
Top bar controls for filters, search, and Add Printer
Buttons for Auto-Optimize, Today, and timeline scale (Minutes / Hourly / Daily / Weekly)
4. Using Filters, Search, and Timeline Controls
Filter (funnel icon): same filters as Printer List (e.g., printer state, group).
Search: To locate a printer.
Today: jumps back to current time.
Time Scale: switch between minute, hour, day, or week view.
5. Job Visibility on the Timeline
Use the status filter (dropdown at the top) to control what’s shown:
Finished and In-progress jobs are fixed in place.
Queued jobs can be dragged within the same lane or to another compatible printer.
Bed-cleaning time appears as a small gap between jobs.
Jobs without print time (e.g., non-G-code files): automatically assigned a 30-minute default duration on the schedule.
6. Moving and Managing Jobs
Within the Same Printer
Drag a job within the same lane to change its order.
The next jobs on that printer automatically shift to the right, accounting for print time and cleaning delay.
Jobs on other printers are not affected.
Overlaps are not allowed. The system automatically adjusts the schedule.
Between Printers
Drag a job into another printer’s lane.
The system checks printer-type compatibility before allowing the move.
If compatible, jobs shift and timings recalculate for both lanes.
The moved job becomes the first queued job on the destination printer (drop position is ignored).
7. Job Overlay
Clicking a queued or unfinished job opens the Job Overlay, showing:
File name and metadata
Estimated duration
Queue number
Control options (Start, Cancel, etc.)
Finished or in-progress jobs can’t be dragged or edited here.
8. Auto-Optimize
This feature redistributes queued jobs among idle printers to maximize utilization.
