How to skip objects during a print (Bambu Lab printers only)

Written by Illia Nazarko

On Bambu Lab printers you can skip one or more objects on the plate while a job is still printing, so a single failed part does not force you to cancel the whole print.

Open the Skip Objects window

While the job is printing, find it in the printer's row or open its job details, click the three-dot menu, and choose Skip Objects.

Choose what to skip

The window shows a top-down view of the plate on the left, with every object outlined and labelled by its object ID, and the same IDs listed on the right under Select objects to skip. Turn on the toggle for each object you want to skip. The objects you select are highlighted on the plate view, so you can check you picked the right ones before committing.

Confirm the skip

Click Skip Object to apply your selection to the running print, or Close to exit without skipping anything. After you confirm, the printer carries on without the skipped objects and reports back which ones it skipped.

Skipping cannot be undone. A skipped object is dropped from the current print and will not be finished, so check the plate view before you click Skip Object.
