Overview

The Week View in 3C Connect allows you to plan and dispatch appointments across an entire week. It helps you identify technician availability, balance workloads, and assign jobs efficiently based on time, duration, and location.

Availability Overview

The schedule displays technician availability across the selected week. Each technician’s lane shows how many open time slots they have, allowing you to quickly determine who can take additional work.

Filters

You can refine the schedule to find the most relevant availability using the following filters:

  • Board
Switch between different boards to view specific teams or departments.

  • Duration
Match available time slots to the length of the job you need to schedule.

  • Time of Day
Focus on specific parts of the day such as morning or afternoon.

  • Days of the Week
Limit results to selected days within the week.

The schedule updates automatically as filters are applied.

Availability Indicators

Technician availability is represented using color coding across the schedule:

  • Green
Indicates high availability with many open slots.

  • Light Green
    Indicates moderate availability.

  • Red
    Indicates no available slots.

This allows you to quickly compare technicians without reviewing each schedule in detail.

Appointment Visibility

The Week View displays both available and occupied time slots.

  • Available Slots
Show where new appointments can be scheduled.

  • Occupied Slots
Show existing appointments already assigned to technicians.

This provides full visibility into each technician’s schedule.

Each scheduled appointment includes the city where the technician will be working.

This helps dispatchers:

  • Assign jobs to technicians already in the same area

  • Reduce travel time between appointments

  • Improve overall routing efficiency

Technician Workload

Each technician includes information about their weekly workload:

  • Scheduled Hours
Total hours already booked for the week.

  • Allowed Hours
Maximum hours the technician is expected to work.

This ensures technicians are not overbooked and helps distribute work evenly across the team.
