Allowing Location Access

To allow locations to be sent to 3C Connect from the iPad app, the feature must be enabled when the app is installed and started up for the first time. A dialog like this will be shown once a technician has logged in to the app:

You must select the option "Allow" in order to receive location updates on the 3C Connect website.

How to Fix Location Issues

A red banner will appear in the sidebar if the location services are not enabled on the technician's iPad. Click on Retry, and wait a few seconds to see if the banner disappears. If it doesn't, keep following the instructions.

To enable location services for the app, open the iPad Settings and go to Safari > Location.

Select the option mobile.3cconnect.com.

Select the option Allow.

From there, you need to close the app and reopen it, see Close an app on your iPad.
The red banner should now be gone, meaning the location services are enabled.
