Introduction
Sales proposals are a set of packages or options to be presented directly to customers. Packages, options or service tiers can be added to the same proposal so customers can compare and contrast before making a decision. Warranty details, guarantees and loan options can also be added and compared.
Here's how the sales proposal process is designed to work in 3C Connect:
Create a sales proposal from a customer's site page
Present the proposal on 3C Connect or with a shareable PDF
Collect any down payments and finalize the customer's package selection
A new work order is created from the selected package
Create a Sales Proposal
Sales proposals are created by hovering on the Create button when viewing a customer's site.
Sales proposal templates can also be created at any time by clicking the Create button. These templates can be created when the same package options are shown to different customers.
Sales proposal templates can be loaded when creating a sales proposal from a customer's site by clicking the Load Template button in the action bar at the bottom right of the screen.
Likewise, once a customer's sales proposal has been finalized saved, it can also be saved for reuse as a template.
Present the Proposal
Sales proposals can be displayed directly from the 3C Connect web app, but are designed to be emailed or printed as a PDF file. Once a proposal has been finalized, click the cog at the upper right of the page when viewing it. An option to download a PDF will appear.
Collect Down Payment & Finalize
When editing a sales proposal, a down payment can be added. These payments will be carried over to the newly created work order once a package has been selected and finalized by the customer.
When the customer is ready to proceed and finalizes their choice of a package, click the Select Package button when viewing the sales proposal. This will create a new work order from the package items.
Package Work Order Created
Once a package is finalized and the work order is created, it can be viewed by clicking View Work Order when viewing the finalized sales proposal.
A modified type of work order, called a package work order, will be created from the selected sales proposal package items.
