Problem: Incoming SMS callback URL not responding
When a connection issue occurs due to a hiccup on 3C Connect or TextMagic servers, you will receive an email like this one:
It is likely that this is a temporary, transient issue that will not need any intervention to resolve. Your integration should return to normal once the server has reconnected successfully.
To determine if this issue is temporary and has been resolved, you can send a text message to your own TextMagic number and see if you receive a notification in 3C Connect. To test it out:
Find your TextMagic SMS number by accessing your account at textmagic.com and navigating to Services > Numbers. You'll find your SMS number here.
Send a text message to your own number (you can use another device or cell phone for this).
Check your 3C Connect alerts or the results page in your 3C Connect SMS Settings to see if you received a confirmation that the text message was received.
If you successfully received a confirmation in 3C Connect, no further action is required. If you do not receive a confirmation, proceed to Step 5.
The following steps are only required if the previous steps did not already resolve the issue. Navigate to the Initial Setup page in your 3C Connect Settings and click the button to reactivate setup.
Follow any steps to reactivate, and click "Finish" at the bottom of the screen.
Send another test message following the same process as outlined above in Steps 1-4.
If you still do not receive a confirmation at this point, please contact 3C Connect.
