Hi there πŸ‘‹,

Welcome to our SFDR tool! If you are reading this, you have probably logged on for the first time and want to kick-start you compliance process.

To make this process as smooth as possible for you, this article will help you understand the what different parts in the tool stand for, and how you can reach out to us in case you have any questions or remarks.

You can watch the video below to get you started, or read the questions and answers below for some more detailed information about the tool.

How can I see my progress?

On the home page, you can see your progress at one glance at this progress bar:

Here, you can see that there are 6 big tasks that need to be completed to reach Step 7 (SFDR Level 1 compliance). In this case, the user is currently working on Step 2.

How is the structure of the tool set up?

Our tool follows a structure with three different levels that go from broad to specific. The first level is the homepage which shows the seven requirements that are also shown on the progress bar in a list:

The next level portrays all tasks that need to be done for one specific requirement. In this case, the user has clicked on requirement 1: PAI Statement:

Finally, clicking on one of these sub-requirements will then lead the user to the most detailed level - one task that the use needs to fulfil to complete one sub-requirement. In this case, the user has clicked on the first sub-requirement again and can see a survey to fill in alongside an explanation what the survey is used for.

What do the different status fields mean?

There are three different status field that you will see on the requirements or sub-requirements page:

1) πŸ”’ Locked:

This status means that you cannot work on this (sub)-requirement yet, as you need to complete the ones above first. Clicking on locked (sub)-requirement will lead you to a display of this message:

2) ✏️ To-do

This status indicates that this is a (sub)-requirement that you can start working on, or are already working on. Once you have finalised a task, you can mark it as done yourself by clicking on this button:

This will then change the status to:

3) βœ… Done

Clicking on a finalised task will show you the following message:

If you think you have forgotten something or want to change an answer, you can use the "Re-open" button to unlock the task again.

What are the different types of tasks?

There are four different types of tasks for you to complete in the tool:

  1. πŸ“„ Upload: This is typically a short questionnaire where we ask you to upload some existing policies or documents

  2. πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦β€πŸ‘¦ Meeting: Here, you will be able to schedule a meeting with one of our experts to give you some guidance and consultations about decisions that need to be made during the compliance process.

  3. ❓Questionnaire: This is the most common task you will see. Here, you will answer a mix between multiple choice and open-ended questions that serve as the basis of your SFDR compliance statements.

  4. πŸ“– Review: A review task usually consists of an article that explains an aspect of the SFDR a bit more in detail. We sometimes set reading these articles as a task before you can dive into the respective questionnaire, so that you familiarise yourself with why certain questions will need to be answered.
