To arrive to your final Fund-level or entity-level PAI indicators results, you need to aggregate your portfolio companies' results.
The latter results are then incorporated into a formula including a set of financial data to derive your final PAI results.
The following definitions should help you fill in the financial data we need from you to finalise your results:
Definitions
Current value of investment
is the value in EUR (€) of the investment by the financial market participant in the investee company, namely the total capital currently invested in the investment.
Current value of all investments
means the value in EUR (€) of all investments by the financial market participant, namely the total capital currently invested by you.
Enterprise value
means the sum, at fiscal end of the year, of the market capitalisation of ordinary shares, the market capitalisation of preferred shares, and the book value of total debt and non-controlling interests, without the deduction of cash or cash equivalents.
The value is to be determined using the most recent available information on company valuation (i.e., internal valuation at end of your reference period).
Quarterly % of holding in the company
means the share of holding in the company that you possessed for each of the four Quarters of the financial year.
The reason for asking this data is that your Fund(-Manager)'s impact will be proportional to the % holding you have in your portfolio companies. So if you held 60% shares in the company in Q1 and Q2, and then sold the company, you will own 0% shares in Q3 and Q4.
This will result in 60% from that PCs emissions being recorded for half of your reporting period, and the second half will account for 0% of the PCs emissions.
