You can create tasks in two ways:
Directly through your account
By importing an .xlsx file for bulk uploads.
How to create a task manually
Go to the "Tasks" section and click "Add".
Enter the required details:
Amount – Enter the contractor’s payment amount.
Currency – Select the appropriate currency.
Contractor – Choose from the list if they are in the system. If the contractor is not there yet, click "Invite a new contractor" and enter their details in the invitation form.
Please note!
An extra 2.8% fee applies to EUR and USD withdrawals to a bank card.
If the "Pay the 2.8% withdrawal fee for contractors" option is enabled in the settings, you can choose who covers this fee when creating a task.
If this option is disabled, the fee is covered by the contractor.
For bank transfers over 100 EUR or USD, there is no extra fee.
More details can be found in the "Settings" section article.
Select a task name
Choose from the dropdown list of services or from popular options. If the required category is missing, please contact support or reach out to your 4dev.com manager.
Complete the remaining fields
In the final step, be sure to provide the following details:
Detailed description of the task – Clearly outline the goal and/or key steps.
Service provision period – Specify the deadline.
Make sure to fill the details carefully.
The service type and other task details are displayed in the supporting documents for both the company and the contractor.
Further task status
If the "Send tasks to work immediately" option is disabled in the settings, newly created tasks will be saved in "Draft" status.
At this stage, you can:
Delete the task if needed.
Modify any details except for the contractor.
Once the task moves to another status, further edits will no longer be possible.
