MarginEdge is a restaurant management system was created to get you out of the back office and back onto the floor. It makes uploading invoices a breeze and handles everything from bill pay to recipe costing and food usage.
NOTE: You must be a MarginEdge admin to set up this integration.
How to set up the MarginEdge integration
Log into Margin Edge
Click your name in the top right corner of the web app
Select "Settings"
Navigate to the "Security" tab
NOTE: If you don’t see the Security tab and you are a MarginEdge Admin, contact Jeff Burger (jeff@marginedge.com) to enabled public APIs for your restaurants.
Click “Create new API key”
Enter a name ("5-Out") and description in the pop-up window
Copy the API key that is displayed in the next pop up window
NOTE: this is the ONLY opportunity you’ll have to access and copy your API key. Copy it and save it somewhere secure.
