We understand you can do everything right, but still be late to deliver due to issues outside of your control. You can submit a dispute in the mobile application or in the web portal for any loads where the shipper was at fault for a late pickup or delivery.

We recommend submitting your dispute as soon as you complete the load, as once you have submitted the load for payment it is ineligible to be disputed.

In the Mobile Application

In the mobile application, navigate to the "Your Pay Level" screen and tap on "Dispute On Time Rating" at the bottom. Select the load you would like to dispute and then fill out the form with any supporting documentation.

In the Web Application

Visit your driver's profile page. Scroll to find the load you would like to dispute, and click "Dispute Late Arrival". Then fill out the form with any supporting documentation.

How does 5F review disputes?

In general, we will forgive late shipments for anything that our shippers will make exceptions for. Some common examples are listed below:

Will Approve Disputes for:

  • Delays at the shipper facility due to loading issues

  • Delays at the prior load's receiving facility due to unloading issues

  • Inoperable drop trailer

  • Incorrect appointment time

Will Not Approve Disputes for:

  • Traffic

  • Truck maintenance

  • Additional stops in transit not specified by 5F or the shipper

  • Did not use the 5F OTR app

Are there any loads I cannot dispute?

Once a load has been submitted for payment, you can no longer submit a dispute. You cannot dispute loads which have already been denied.
