Excel is a spreadsheet program from Microsoft Office and exists since 1985. Excel is the market leader in spreadsheet programs. A spreadsheet is a digital spreadsheet and is widely used for financial calculations and in engineering. Excel files are a type of book. An Excel file is called a "workbook" and the chapters into which the file is divided are called "worksheets”.

For an overview of all Excel-challenges, first go to the Library.

The Library can be found by clicking on Library in the upper right corner of the tool.

Then click on Excel at the top left of all programs to see the range of Excel-tracks and challenges available.

The use of Excel

Excel is widely used by people at work, however, it often comes in handy in private life as well. Excel is a handy tool for making overviews and calculations and for keeping records. You can easily create tables and charts of text and numbers, which can save a lot of time and work.
