This article explains the second challenge of the track Power BI Beginner 1.
This challenge requires you to use the Online version of Power BI (Power BI Service). Which is not to be confused with Power BI Desktop, which is an application on your computer.
This challenge covers the topic of importing and opening a sample data file that Microsoft has built, to understand the endless possibilities of what we can do with Power BI. Follow the steps below to open the Retail Analysis Sample file in Power BI Service.
Go to https://app.powerbi.com.
Open the Navigation Pane in the top left corner (just above the "Home" icon)
Click on ‘Learn’
Under ‘Sample reports’, click on the right button to click through the sample reports
Select the sample report, named ‘Retail Analysis Sample’
