In the Settings section of the platform, you’ll find three key tabs: Sensor Ranges, Sensor Alias, and Custom Fields.

Sensor Ranges

In the Sensor Ranges tab, you can color code the readings displayed in the process tile view. To set up new ranges, click on the plus symbol in the top right corner of the page. This will add a new line where you can:

  • Select Sensor Type: Choose the type of measurement (e.g., temperature, Phosphine, etc.).

  • Set Range Values: Define the minimum and maximum values for the readings where the color will be applied.

  • Choose Colors: Select the background and text colors that will appear when the sensor’s readings fall within the specified range.

You can edit these settings at any time or delete any range you’ve created.

For example, you might set Phosphine readings between 0 and 299 ppm to be displayed in red, while anything above 300 ppm appears in green. This allows you to quickly assess how a fumigation process is progressing at a glance.

Sensor Alias

In the Sensor Alias tab, you can assign aliases to your sensors, making it easier to identify them. You’ll see a list of all your assigned sensors, and you can assign an alias by clicking the pencil icon in the Actions section next to each sensor.

Although you can set aliases in the Devices section of the platform, the Settings section provides a comprehensive view of all available sensors, making it quicker and easier to name them. Simply type your preferred alias in the new line that appears, then click the save icon. The sensor will now be displayed with your chosen alias throughout the platform.

Custom Fields

The Custom Fields tab allows you to create new fields for either an Asset or a Process, enabling you to store additional information as needed. For example, you can record the lot number of the commodity being monitored or the name of the vessel from which a fumigated container originates.
