Connecting these two apps can be useful if you use MINDA LIVE for recording animal health events but want the convenience of having that information in your Dairy Diary app to simplify your annual Farm Dairy Assessment or to take advantage of the reporting options available within the Dairy Diary.
PLEASE NOTE: Currently this is a 'one way' connection, from MINDA LIVE to the Dairy Diary.
Step 1: Create an Agrigate account
Go to the Agrigate account registration page or from the Agrigate website, click 'Get Started Now'.
From the account registration page, you have three ways to create your Agrigate account.
Farm Source - using the same email and password so you don't have to remember a new login.
MINDA Live - using the same email and password so you don't have to remember a new login.
Email - if you can't remember your Farm Source and MINDA Live logins.
Step 2: Connect your account to Farm Source and MINDA Live
Next, you'll be taken to the Manage Data Providers page to connect your data providers to your Agrigate account. For animal health information to move from MINDA LIVE to the Dairy Diary, you need to have both Farm Source and MINDA LIVE connected.
Click the 'Connect' button to be sent to the sign-in screen of the Data Provider where you'll verify your credentials and link the data to Agrigate.
Step 3: Describe your farm
You'll be taken to the My Farms page to create your first farm. Click on 'Create my Farm' to start describing your digital farm.
Enter your farm name.
From Milk Production, select your farm/supply number and from Herd and Health, select your LIC participant code.
Click on the ‘Save’ button to save your farm.
Step 4: Go to the Digital Dairy Diary app
Now that you have successfully connected both Farm Source and MINDA LIVE to Agrigate, you tell the Dairy Diary to start importing your MINDA LIVE animal health treatments.
Go to your Digital Dairy Diary app.
From the sidebar menu, go to 'Settings'.
Under Settings, select 'Import Settings'.
