Run through this list of common issues if your student can't sign up or join your class.
When their username is already in use
If your student is trying to sign up and receives an error that says "Your username is already being used," we already have a user by that name in the system. Try adding a few numbers to the end to make the username more unique, or pick another username altogether.
When they used the wrong class code
Students occasionally enter the wrong class code. Double-check the class code in your teacher account to make sure you shared the correct code. If a student accidentally joined the wrong class, they can switch their code.
When they forgot their password
You can reset a student's password if they forgot it.
