Self-Service Guide: Change/Unbind Authentication Methods

Google Authenticator Change

If the bound Google Authenticator is working correctly, but you need to switch it to another device:

1.Log in to the official website.

2.Go to SecurityAuthenticator → Click the Change button on the right.

3.Enter the email verification code and the current Google Authenticator code.

4.Click Confirm and submit. Afterward, re-verify.

Mobile and Email Change

The steps for changing mobile and email are the same as those above. Please make sure to select the corresponding security item that needs to be changed.

Unbind Email

If the account is linked to both an email and a mobile number, and one is still usable, you can unbind it:

1.Log in to the official website.

2.Go to SecurityEmail → Click the Unlink button on the right.

3.Enter the mobile and email verification codes (if Google Authenticator is bound, enter that code as well).

4.Click Submit to complete the unlinking.

Unbind Mobile

The steps for unlinking the mobile number are the same as those mentioned above.

Change Email

1.Log in to the app.

2.Tap the BitDa icon in the top-left corner.

3.Go to Security Center → Tap the small arrow next to Email.

4.Select Change my Email → Click the Send Verification Code button.

5.Enter the following:

  • Verification code for the old email

  • New email address

  • Verification code for the new email

6.Click Confirm.

Change Mobile /Google Authenticator

The steps are the same as for changing the email, make sure to select the corresponding security item to change.


Note

Unlinking or changing security items will restrict withdrawals for 24 hours.
However, spot and futures trading will not be affected. Please be aware of this.
