How to Send Crash Reports and Enable Automatic Reporting

Sending a Specific Crash Report from your iPad

Follow these steps to locate and send a specific crash report from your iPad:

  1. On your iPad, open the Settings app.

  2. Navigate to Privacy & Security (or Privacy on older iOS versions).

  3. Tap on Analytics & Improvements.

  4. Tap Analytics Data.

  5. Locate the log for your app. Crash reports usually start with <AppBinaryName>_<DateTime> (e.g., MyApp_2025-06-06-153020.ips) or JetsamEvent_<DateTime> for high-memory use crashes.

  6. Select the desired log by tapping on it.

  7. Tap the Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing upwards) in the top right corner.

  8. Select Mail to send the crash report as an email attachment.

  9. Please send the email to michael@c-trax.com.

Enabling Automatic Crash Report Sending on your iPad

To help us receive crash reports automatically and quickly address issues, please enable the following setting:

  1. On your iPad, open the Settings app.

  2. Navigate to Privacy & Security (or Privacy on older iOS versions).

  3. Tap on Analytics & Improvements.

  4. Turn on the toggle switch for Share with App Developers.
