Depositing by card or digital wallet is the fastest way to fund your CUSP Wealth account. In most cases, your funds appear in your balance instantly so you can start investing right away.
Before you start
A few things to check before adding a card:
Card networks: we accept Visa and Mastercard only.
Card type: only debit cards are accepted. Credit and prepaid cards are not supported.
Use a card in your name: for your security, we recommend using a card issued under your CUSP account's own name.
Card acceptance can vary: whether your card is accepted also depends on the country it was issued in and your card issuer's policies. If your card isn't accepted, try a different card or use a manual bank transfer instead.
3D Secure (OTP): your bank will usually ask you to confirm the deposit with a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS or via your banking app. Make sure you have access to your phone before you start.
Fees and conversion
Card deposits include a processing fee and are converted to USD at the best available rate set by our payment service provider:
Processing fee: 2.95% + 1 AED per deposit.
Conversion rate: deposits in AED are converted to USD at the rate displayed on the review screen (for reference, around 1 AED = $0.2695; the live rate is shown before you confirm).

How to deposit using a debit card?
From the home screen, tap Deposit.
Enter the amount you'd like to deposit in AED. The screen shows the live conversion to USD and the fees that will apply.
Select your saved card, or tap to Add a new card.
If adding a new card, enter the card number, expiry date and CVV. You can toggle Save your card for future payments to keep it on file and then Tap Continue.
Review the deposit summary, including the processing fee and the final USD amount that will be credited to your CUSP balance, then slide to confirm.
Complete the 3D Secure step by entering the OTP sent by your bank or approving the deposit in your banking app. In some cases your browser will open briefly to verify your card.
Once approved, you'll see a confirmation and the funds will appear in your CUSP balance.
How to deposit using Apple Pay?
If your device supports it, you can also fund your account using a digital wallet. The fees and processing time are the same as for a debit card.
From the home screen, tap Deposit and enter the amount in AED.
Select Apple Pay as the deposit method.
Confirm the deposit summary, then authorise the payment using Face ID, Touch ID, your device passcode, or your fingerprint.
Once approved, you'll see a confirmation screen and the funds will appear in your balance.
After your deposit
Your CUSP balance updates as soon as the deposit is confirmed by your card issuer. You can view all your transactions, including this deposit, from the History section of the app.
Note: CUSP Wealth does not store your card details. All card payments are handled directly by our payment partner using encrypted payment systems.
