ChildcareNow App - How to check if I'm on the latest version?

We're thrilled to announce that we've officially changed our name from KindyNow to ChildcareNow!

There have been no functional changes to your Booking App - how you notify your absent days and secure casual days via the App, remains exactly same. The only change is your Booking App will now be known as the ChildcareNow App!

You may be wondering if your App has updated to the latest version. Depending on your set up, you may just need to manually kick off an update to see this name change.

To check if you're on the latest version:

Please go to the last Settings tab in your App. If it's showing App version 8.20.0 and if on your Home Screen the App is now showing "ChildcareNow", then you're all up to date and there is nothing else that you need to do.

Otherwise, you may need to simply update your App in the App Store or the Google Play Store to see the latest updates.

To update your ChildcareNow App:

1. Open your App Store (if you have an IOS/iPhone device) or Google Play Store (if you have an Android device)

2. Search for your "ChildcareNow" App

3. Select the Update button to allow your ChildcareNow App to update.

4. Once updated, the Open button should be available for you to Open your App and you can continue to book extra days or notify upcoming absent days in the same way you always have!

Please Note: If you need to Sign In again, please remember to enter in the Primary Contact's mobile number at the Sign In step (usually the person set up to receive the CCS Benefit for your child) and to get the 4 digit validation code that will be sent via SMS to the Primary Contact's mobile number. Once you're logged in, you will not need to repeat this process again unless you log out.

App not updating or loading as expected?

If for some reason the Update doesn't go as you expect, we recommend deleting the App and downloading the App again from the App Store (if you have an IOS/iPhone device) or Google Play Store (if you have an Android device).

If you do need to download the ChildcareNow App again to your mobile device, please click below and choose the appropriate Store:
