All international transfers have a fixed transfer fee and can have a variable fee as well. The fixed transfer fee for all international transfers ir $2.99. The variable fee only applies for customers sending money to countries that accept dollars as their currency (Panama, El Salvador and Ecuador).

Let's look at specifics:

  1. Fixed transfer fee is $2.99 and applies to al international transfers.

  2. Variable transfer fee can very between 1% (for bank transfers) and 1.5% (for cash pick up) of the amount that is being sent.

For example:

  1. If you send $200 to Mexico, the total cost of sending the money will be $200 and the fixed fee of $2.99.

The total cost of sending the money to Mexico would be $202.99 ($200 + $2.99).

2. If you send $200 to a bank account in El Salvador (country that operates in dollars), the cost of sending the money will be $200, plus the fixed transfer fee of $2.99 and the variable fee of 1% of $200 ($2.00).

The total cost of sending the money to El Salvador would be $204.99 ($200 + $2.99+ $2.00).
