How to add a number to the DNC list and block outbound calls

With this tool, you can add or remove phone numbers that will NOT be called on the entire system or on the selected dialing campaign, however, numbers will still available to be manually dialed.


What happens when a number is added to the DNC list?

After adding a number to the DNC list, you will force the dialer to stop calling the numbers that have this status.

There are several ways of adding numbers to the DNC list such as automatically disposition with the DNC status through a survey campaign (IVR), your agents can disposition leads with the DNC status at the end of their call and you can manually add leads to the DNC List.

💡Note that the system only adds leads to the DNC list in your account and not to the National or Federal DNC list. 

Add to DNC individual numbers

After logging into the Telesero platform, go to Contact Center > DNC Tools > DNC ADD/REMOVE >  WITH TEXT

Now follow the steps:

  • Numbers: you can add a single number or up to 10.000. Separate the numbers by comma or by adding a new line

  • Country: select the country from the dropdown list. United States is the default country for numbers that do not have an internaltional code

  • Campaign: select from the dropdown list the campaign on which the numbers will be added to DNC. By selecting "All Campaigns" will stop calling these numbers on any future campaigns

  • Remove: disable the button. If enabled, the numbers will be removed and not added to the DNC

  • Send Request: click this button to add the numbers to your DNC list



Add to DNC by files

After logging into the Telesero platform, go to Contact Center > DNC Tools > DNC ADD/REMOVE >  WITH FILE

Now follow the steps:

  • File: choose the file with the leads that have to be added to the DNC list 

  • Column: select the column where the phone numbers are. Columns start from 1 onwards

  • Country: select the country from the dropdown list. United States is the default country for numbers that do not have an internaltional code

  • Campaign: select from the dropdown list the campaign on which the numbers will be added to DNC. By selecting "All Campaigns" will stop calling these numbers on any future campaigns

  • Remove: disable the button. If enabled, the numbers will be removed and not added to the DNC

  • Send Request: click this button to add the file to your DNC list

Remove numbers from the DNC list

To remove numbers from the DNC list, go to Contact Center > DNC Tools > DNC ADD/REMOVE 

  • WITH TEXT 

or 

  • WITH FILE

The process is the same as the above. As you follow through the exact steps, you will reach the "Remove" section. Make sure you enable the button and click send request to remove the numbers from the DNC list.
