Quote Management permissions

What are the permissions to create quotes and update the details of items added to the quotes

Like most other functionality on Cloud, Quoting requires that users who create quotes have the necessary permissions. This ensures that quotes are created by approved Cloud users, and they don't make undue changes in the quotes.

Here is the list of quote management permissions and their associated capabilities.

Create and manage quotes

Create quotes, add items to quotes, and edit item details, all subject to other permissions relevant to quoting.

Without this permission, quotes are read-only.

Manage quote item pricing

Edit the following item details in the quote: Billable setting, unit price, margin, and markup.

Without this permission, these details are read-only.

Manage quote item costs

Edit the unit cost of the items in the quote.

Without this permission, unit cost is read-only.

Manage quote labor type pricing

Edit the following details of labor items (product-associated labor, labor line items, and labor in packages) in the quote: Billable setting, unit price, margin, and markup.

Without this permission, these details are read-only.

Manage quote labor type costs

Edit the cost of a labor type in the quote.

Without this permission, the cost is read-only.

Delete quotes

Delete quotes

Manage quote payment schedule

Edit the following details of the payment schedule in the quote: payment schedule template, payment milestone name, percentage, and billing and due dates.

These permissions are listed under the Opportunities permissions group.
