How to add products to purchase orders from the Project view

If you don't prefer to stockpile products and want to order products as and when projects start, you can do so from the Project view.

To add products to one or more POs from the Project view, go to the "Details" tab in the project. Here you have two ways of adding products to existing POs or creating new POs.

From the Bill of Materials (BoM) view

In the BoM view, you can add products one by one to new or existing POs. This is good when you have some or most of the products in stock or are part of existing POs.

To add a product to a PO, click "Add to order" in the side panel and add it to a new or existing PO.

From the Item Status view

In the Item Status view, you can select multiple products at one go and add them to new or existing POs.

To add products to one or more POs, select products with the "Unordered" or "Ready-to-Order" status, click "Create purchase order" in the top-right corner, and add it to new or existing POs.
