Sending emails through apps or marketing channels has become more complicated over the years. What used to be a simple way of communicating electronically has now become polluted with marketing blasts, spammers, and app notifications, which has caused email clients to try to get smarter and make their inboxes more focused.

Generally, email notifications from Cloud should reach the inbox of the email you have associated with the Cloud account. Here are some of the reasons this may not be happening.

Your IT department has blocked unknown senders

Some of our customers have IT departments that filter out/block potentially harmful emails with phishing and spam links. These can be over-conservative for good reason. However, this blocks emails from Cloud.

We recommend that you talk to your IT person and ask them to allow Cloud emails.

Your email client has identified Cloud emails as spam or junk

If you have received multiple emails from D-Tools Cloud about app notifications, but have only glanced at them and not opened them, your email client might have started to flag these as spam.

Go to the Spam or Junk folder in your email client, open the email, and mark it as not spam. The email client should now not move them to the Spam or Junk folder.

Your email client has a Focused inbox

Some email clients now try to make life easier for you by just showing you the important emails in your inbox through a Focused tab. Outlook uses the Focused tab and Gmail uses the Primary tab.

Check the emails in these tabs for Cloud emails.
