Image-based quoting is another way of visually quoting through images instead of a floor plan. With Image-based quoting, you add images of the different locations of the work site, add products on top of the image, and add the marked-up images to the proposal.

Build the image-based quote

Go to "Overview > Drawings" in the Quote Details view. Click the "Image Quoting" tab. Here, do the following.

#1 Add images

Upload the images of the locations where the products need to be installed. If you are at the work site, you can take photos from a computer, tablet, or phone and upload them directly.

Don't forget to select a location for every image, so you can place the products in the appropriate locations.

#2 Add products on top of the images

Add products to your images, either from your quote or new items from the catalog. Resize to fit onto your images and give your customer an idea of what their locations will look like.

#3 Markup the images

Markup your images with text and draw lines to call out the design in this location.

Add images to the proposal

When you have the images ready with all the required products added, you can add the images to your proposal so the customer can see them.
