To keep a close watch on how projects are progressing, you may need to track the "Project hours" your Office users and Field users spend on projects. Cloud has a robust and versatile "Project Time Tracking" functionality that provides options for clocking in and clocking out of tasks and even entering time manually.

Field User Time Tracking

Field users can log project hours by using the Clock-In/Clock-Out mechanism or add their project hours for a specific project task manually.

Check out this article for more details about how Field users can log project hours.

Office User Time Tracking

Office users will always need to log their project hours manually.

Check out this article for more details about how Office users can log project hours.

Per-Project Time Tracking

To log and track project hours for a project, go to "Plan > Time Tracking" in the Project view.

Here, you have the option to log hours for both Office users and Field users. The project hours logged by Field users either using the Clock-In/Clock-Out mechanism or manually are also seen here.

In this example, you can see the project hours logged by three resources assigned to the project.

Company-Wide Project Time Tracking

Cloud has a "Time Entries" report under the "Reports" tab in the left navigation to help you see the total project hours logged by your Office users and Field users on all projects.

You also have the option to filter by client, project, and/or resource to check the project hours logged by the users.

Employee Attendance Tracking

You also have the option to use the Project Time Tracking functionality to let your employees with Cloud accounts add their attendance timesheets to Cloud. So, Cloud can also be used as an Attendance Management tool.
