The usual way to add tasks and schedule them to project resources is to do it from the project Details view (Plan > Tasks and Plan >Scheduling.) This works well when you are managing one or two projects.

If you are a Project Manager or a resource who is managing multiple projects, then you can skip going back and forth between projects by adding tasks and scheduling them from "Projects > Scheduling." Under "Scheduling" you can manage tasks and schedules for all your projects in one view.

Tasks

Go to the Tasks tab and you can add tasks for different projects and assign resources to them. You can also manage their status on the Kanban Board. Tasks can also be filtered by project or resource.

Events

Go to the Scheduling tab and you can see the event schedule by project or resource over the day, week, or month.

Scheduling events in the Resource view can help you identify free slots for installers and technicians and schedule them for projects.

Scheduling events in the Project view is useful if you want to create an event schedule for the project in one sitting.
