DataPoint accepts volume, speed and class data in 15- and 60-minute .csv files exported from VIAS.

1) In the Edit File Details pop-up, enter the Station ID in the Site Code field and enter the directions in the Layout section.

The directions must match the directions of the DataPoint Station.

Format the directions using the following two-letter convention: EB, WB, NB, SB.

2) Create Studies for the Date/Time and data types you wish to export.

The settings below will generate volume, speed and class reports in 15-minute intervals.

3) Select the Study you wish to export, then click the Export button, or right click the Study and select Export Study.

4) Use the VIAS Default formats for all exports.

5) Choose a directory to save the export.

The VIAS-generated file name will include the Station ID, date of the first interval, data type, and interval type.

The file below is for Station ID MB-2250, begins on 7/28/2021, and contains speed data in 60-minute intervals.
