DataPoint supports the turning movement counts in 5- and 15-minute intervals exported from Miovision’s Traffic Data Online (TDO) portal.
1) Confirm the approaches in TDO match the approaches in DataPoint.
DataPoint uses directional matching to import data, not street names. For example, if “Main St” is listed as the EB approach in TDO but listed as NB in DataPoint, the data for Main St will be imported into the EB leg. Main St should be set up as NB in TDO to ensure the data is imported into the correct approach in DataPoint.
2) Enter the DataPoint Station ID into the Site Code / Intersection ID field of the Location tab (case sensitive).
The count below is for Station ID INT-0012.
3) Confirm the Report Interval Length is either 5 or 15 minutes.
DataPoint will not accept any other interval lengths.
4) Choose the CSV export from the Basic Reporting menu.
5) Download the .csv from the Recent Reports pop-up.
