First, go to your Costing Section and then double click to open.
Then click the Costing Settings on the right hand side.
In the 'General' drop down, the first thing you need to so is set you VAT rate. In the example image below, I've set it to 20%.
Next, go to Show/Hide settings and then select 'Show VAT total' and Show NET totals'
You're VAT and total will now be displayed:
