What is 2FA?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your DocFlite account.

It means that logging in requires:

  1. Your password (something you know)

  2. A one-time code sent to your email (something you have)

This protects your business data even if your password is ever compromised.

When is 2FA coming?

2FA will be launched soon. Once it goes live:

You’ll be automatically logged out of your current session.

  • On your next login, you’ll be required to enter a 2FA code.

  • After that, DocFlite will ask for 2FA once every 2 weeks for each device you use.

How do I use 2FA?

Log in with your usual email and password.

  1. Check your email inbox for a one-time security code.

  2. Enter the code into DocFlite to finish signing in.

Why are we introducing 2FA?

Your DocFlite account stores sensitive client data and documents.

2FA:

  • Protects against unauthorised access.

  • Helps you stay compliant with data protection standards (including GDPR).

  • Gives your clients extra confidence in your professionalism.

Do I need to set anything up?

No. 2FA will be enabled automatically for all DocFlite users.

You just need access to the email address linked to your account.

Troubleshooting

  • Didn’t get a code? Check your spam/junk folder.

  • Still no code? Just refresh your verification page.

  • Changed email address? Contact DocFlite support and we'll be glad to help.
