The Lifecycle Report is a great way to see how your Lifecycle Messaging campaigns are performing. Within this report you can see how many Lifecycle Messages are being sent, along with click rates, and conversion. Let's take a closer look...
Your Lifecycle Report can be found here, or within the Reports menu of Elevate Marketing.
This report is only available for stores signed up for Lifecycle Messaging, and it is only available for admin roles. If you'd like to add Lifecycle Messaging, click here.
Once in the report, you will notice the date range defaults to an end date of 2 weeks ago, and a start date of 1 month before that. The reason for this is how we calculate conversion within this report.
You may change the date range to whatever you would like, just note that conversion numbers may not be final if your end date is set for less than 2 weeks ago.
Within the Lifecycle Report you may also choose to view your data by location, creative, or language using the top filters. Filtering the report by creative can be helpful in seeing which campaigns have the most impact.
You may expand your view by using the pagination options at the bottom of the report.
Columns of your report are Campaign, Creative, Language, Location, Deliveries, Unique Clicks, Clicks, Conversion, Auto-pay Enabled, Device Changes, and Added Lines.
The Deliveries column will help you keep track of how many total Lifecycle Messages have been sent in a date range. You can pair this with the location filter to closely track how many messages have been delivered for a particular store.
Clicks reflects the total number of clicks your message received, and Unique Clicks is how many total customers clicked the message. Clicking into a Lifecycle SMS message leads the customer to your landing page featuring a pop-up of the promotion and your store information.
For Conversion, we provide you with a total, then use the Auto-pay Enabled, Device Changes, and Added Lines columns to break down the data based on the conversion calculation below.
Calculating Conversion
To calculate conversion, we look at specific changes that happen by customer within the two week period after they receive a Lifecycle Message, then divide this by total deliveries.
AutoPay
We look to see if the customer goes from not having AutoPay, to having AutoPay.
Add A Line
We look for customers that have added lines to their plan.
Upgrade
We look for any change to the customer's device.
The bottom line of the Lifecycle Report totals everything up for you based on the filters you have applied.
We hope this report helps you track your Lifecycle Messaging campaigns and their impact. Please reach out to our support team with any questions about this report.
