Where to Find Macros

Select the Heart Icon in the main footer menu to access the Macros feature.

Choosing Your Macro Targets

You can choose macro targets from any active program or track that includes Macro targets assigned by your coach.

Here's how it works:

  • First, select the Heart Icon in the footer menu.

  • Connect FITR to your device by selecting the prompt 'Record macros with' (Apple Health or Google Health Connect).

  • Approve permission setting by selecting 'Allow' access to your device health data.

  • Choose your Macros - here you'll see all Programs and Tracks within programs that have been assigned macros targets by your coach. This can be changed any time from Settings -> Macros.

Using Weight Based Targets?

If your coach set your targets based on bodyweight, make sure to record your weight under Profile Settings > Bodymetrics

If no weight is recorded, you'll see a prompt asking you to enter it.

To change or update your targets anytime via: Profile Settings > Macros

Connect Your Tracking App

You can automatically pull your macro data from nutrition tracking apps when you connect your device.

Data is pulled from nutrition apps like MyFitnessPal, Cronometer, and others that can be connected to your device's health platform.

Once connected, FITR will sync:

  • Your latest macro intake

  • Some historical nutrition data

Viewing Your Progress

Once you're tracking, you can view your performance in multiple ways:

Daily & Weekly Charts

  • See your intake in grams or percentages

  • View total Protein, Carbs, Fat, and Calories

  • You'll also see Iron, Potassium, and Fibre if recorded

Weekly Circular Charts

  • The outer ring shows how much you have consumed

  • The inner ring shows your target

This gives you a quick visual of how close you are to your goals each week.
