Overview
Assign macro targets to your clients using the 'Macros block' in any program type. Targets can be specific values, or auto calculated using a client's body weight.
E.g. Target is 1.5g protein per Kg of body weight. Great for assigning targets to lots of clients on your group based programs.
Client's will connect FITR with their device (Apple Health or Google Health Connect) to automatically receive macros recorded in their chosen nutrition app.
How do I add macros to a program?
Add a macros block to any day within any program type.
Hover over a day on the schedule and the Macros icon will appear.
Within build-mode you'll also see the action to add a Macros block. If the day already contains a Macros block, this button won't be available to use as you can only add once macro target per day.
Once added the macros block will appear at the top of the day - making it clear and easy to see which day's you've assigned macros to.
Only one macro block is allowed per day - you'll be prompted to keep or replace it if one already exists.
Setting Macro Targets
You have two ways to assign macro targets:
Exact Targets - Set specific values for Protein, Carbs, and Fat.
Body weight Based Targets - Automatically calculate targets based on the client's bodyweight.
Exact targets:
Great for setting targets for individuals.
Body weight based macro targets:
Great for assigning targets to groups of clients following the same program.
When switching between modes, your previously entered values will be saved.
Default Behaviour:
Group-based programs default to bodyweight based targets.
Clients must have a bodyweight recorded to receive weight-based targets.
1-2-1 programs default to exact targets
Calories are auto-calculated in Exact mode using this formula: Calories = 4 x Protein + 4 x Carbs + 9 x Fat
