Timer & Stopwatch

Learn how to use our built-in Stopwatch & Timer to track time directly in the FITR Client App.

What It Does:

The Stopwatch & Timer feature lets you:

  • Start a stopwatch to count up from zero

  • Set a timer to count down from a specific duration

  • Minimise while continuing your workout

  • Keep it running even if you switch screens

You can access it any time from within a workout at the top right corner.

How to Access the Stopwatch & Timer:

  • Open a workout session.

  • Tap the clock icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

  • The Stopwatch/Timer will open in the large view.

  • You can minimise it by swiping down or tapping the X icon - it will appear as a small widget at the bottom of the screen.

  • Tap the widget to expand it again at any time.


Stopwatch Mode:

Use Stopwatch Mode to track how long an activity or circuit takes.

How to use:

  • Tap Start to begin counting up

  • Tap Pause or Reset as needed

  • Time displays in hours : minutes : seconds (00:00:00).

The stopwatch keeps running even if you move between workout sections.

Timer Mode:

Use Timer Mode when you want to count down from a set time - perfect for rest periods or timed sets.

How to use:

  • Set your desired countdown time (default is 1 minute).

  • Tap Start to begin.

  • You can pause or reset at any time.

When the timer ends:

  • You'll hear a short beep during the last three seconds.

  • A longer beep and vibration will signl that time is up.

  • The timer will turn green once finished.


Switching Between Modes

Swipe left or right to switch between Stopwatch and Timer. You can use both at the same time - they run independently and won't interfere with each other.


Settings Options

Within the settings you have the option to do the following:

  • Turn the sounds on or off for both the Timer & Stopwatch

  • Choose the duration of the Timer Countdown

    • 10 Seconds, 5 Seconds, 3 Seconds or Off
