Client - cancel program before end of trial

How to cancel a program when still in a trial period but you don't want to continue and be charged

Updated over a week ago

Note - a client needs to manually cancel their subscription to the program in order to avoid being charged.

Program content during trial

  • if a program has a trial period then clients still in trial cannot view content in the program which is beyond their remaining trial days left.

  • only once a client is a paying subscriber can they view content beyond the trial period

Cancel before end of trial

  • If you cancel before the end of your trial, you will not be charged. Your trial will naturally expire and will not require cancellation since no payment information was taken.

  • You can see how long left you have in your trial here.

If you don't cancel

  • when the trial ends you'll be moved onto a paying subscription automatically.

  • the first charge does not pro-rata the previous trial period

  • you will be charged for a full billing period from that date.

E.g - £20/month program.

  • 7 day trial starts on 1st Jan. Client doesn't cancel.

  • 8th Jan - client charged £20.

  • Client's billing period will be 8th-7th of following month.

  • 8th Feb - client charged £20.

  • And so on.
