You win some you lose some, right?
Recording why you lose a quote is a very important step in helping to identify common issues like less than competitive pricing or coverage gaps.
When you mark a quote as lost, a screen will pop up prompting you to record the loss reason. There are two ways to record why you lose a quote.
The closed list: While a closed list may not let you tell the whole story, it's great for tracking trends. Choose the option that closest matches the specific situation. You can review loss reasons through the dashboard.
2. Open text: Under the closed list is a field to write a note detailing exactly why the quote was lost. Here is the place to tell the whole story. The comment will be saved along with the quote for future reference.
Remember to hit Mark as lost when you are done recording your quote loss.
