If the Audit Manager wants to create a Verification Phase that is similar to an existing phase, they can choose to clone the existing phase. To clone an audit in GEMS, the Audit Manager should do the following:
On the Phases tab of the Manage Verifications panel, right-click on the existing Verification Phase and select Clone from the menu.
The Verify GEMS Data Wizard opens containing all the details of the existing Verification Phase except for the verification name. Enter the name of the new phase and click Next through the wizard to view the details that have been closed. You can change any of the details, if required, before saving the new Verification Phase.
Please note: The Internal Contacts specified in the “Verification Updater” field and the “Verification Verifier” fields are not copied to the cloned verification if they are no longer active.
