What is a workbit?
A workbit is a short-term job that can last anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. You’re in charge – just apply for the workbits that fit your schedule and availability.
Workbits are not traditional employment contracts. Instead, they’re based on a flexible agreement under the Law of Obligations, which allows businesses and workers to collaborate on a more adaptable basis.
Examples of typical workbits include:
Stocking shelves in a store or warehouse
Serving customers at an event, café or restaurant
Supporting kitchen or housekeeping teams in hospitality
Packaging and sorting goods in production facilities
Data entry or basic admin work
