What is a workbit?

A workbit is a short-term job that can last anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. You’re in charge – just apply for the workbits that fit your schedule and availability.

Workbits are not traditional employment contracts. Instead, they’re based on a flexible agreement under the Law of Obligations, which allows businesses and workers to collaborate on a more adaptable basis.

Examples of typical workbits include:

  • Stocking shelves in a store or warehouse

  • Serving customers at an event, café or restaurant

  • Supporting kitchen or housekeeping teams in hospitality

  • Packaging and sorting goods in production facilities

  • Data entry or basic admin work
