The Hub is a solution for companies with ongoing but fluctuating staffing needs. It lets you build your own extended team who can sign up for the shifts they’re available for.
✅ 1. Create a new Hub
Log into your GoWorkaBit account and choose "Add a New Job”" → "Hub".
Fill in the Hub description – this info is visible to all candidates who want to join your team.
If the job requires a specific skill, certificate or special attire, be sure to include that.
✅ 2. Add a schedule
Once the Hub is created, you can add the work period and enter specific shifts.
You can update the schedule continuously and remove days if needed.
For each day, you can define:
Working hours
Breaks (and whether they’re paid)
Number of workers needed
Pay rate
If you want to open up certain days to workers outside your Hub team, toggle “Candidates → Yes”. That way, even non-Hub members can apply for those shifts — helpful if your team can’t fully cover certain days.
✅ 3. Select your workbiters
If your Hub team is still forming, you'll need to manually approve candidates and add them to the team.
You can either accept or remove each candidate.
Before adding them to the team, complete the confirmation letter by clicking "Add confirmation letter".
Once you’ve reached the required number of workers, you can close applications.
✅ 4. Manage the schedule and track fulfillment
Track your schedule under "Work Schedule" or in the calendar view at the bottom of the page.
Click on a specific day to edit hours or make changes.
To delete a workday, use the red delete icon.
✅ 5. Confirm completed work and release payments
After each shift, the completed work needs to be confirmed.
Do this by going to "Jobs" → "Confirm the Finished Hours".
Once confirmed, GoWorkaBit will handle the worker payments and tax reporting.
Managing and Editing Your Hub
You’ll find all your Hub workbits under "My Jobs" → "Hubs".
✔ Edit the Hub description – open the Hub and click "Edit".
✔ Remove workbiters – if you wish to stop working with someone, click the remove icon next to their name.
✔ Adjust the schedule – click on a date in the calendar to update working hours or the number of workers.
✔ Cancel the Hub – if the Hub was created by mistake or you want to stop it, contact GoWorkaBit support.
Once the Hub is properly set up and your team is in place, you won’t need to manually approve workers for every shift – they’ll sign up for slots themselves and work flows smoothly.
