What to do if a workbiter doesn’t show up?

Updated over 4 months ago

If a workbiter doesn’t arrive at the agreed time and hasn’t canceled through the platform, it’s important to record this to avoid similar situations in the future.

1. Mark the worker’s absence in the system

Once the workbit is over, you can mark a no-show while confirming work hours:

✅ Click the red icon at the end of the worker’s row in the work confirmation view

✅ Indicate whether the worker gave any prior notice or not

2. Did the worker notify you in advance?

  • If there was prior communication or mutual agreement, no penalty will be applied.

  • If there was no notice and no response, we’ll flag the worker in the system. Their account may be blocked to prevent them from applying again.

3. Notify support if you need a quick replacement

If the workbiter didn’t show up and you urgently need someone else, reach out to our support team – we’ll help you find a new worker as fast as possible.

Don’t forget to hit “Confirm” to save the removal and ensure the worker doesn’t get paid.
