You need a smartphone to setup the devices and the SmartCam, to get alerts for your devices, and to see the live view of the SmartCam. 

You can use almost any smartphone for Hedge, just as long as the operating system on that device supports either: 

You can currently add the Hedge app to tablets, although our apps (iOS/Android) are not optimised to work on these devices. Therefore you are likely to have a downgraded experience, so this is not recommended.
