🔄 Resets vs. Renewals
Effectively navigating your trading journey with HyperTicks starts with understanding the tools available for managing your account. Two frequently used features are account resets (using boosters) and account renewals. While they may seem similar, they serve entirely different purposes. Misinterpreting them can lead to unwanted results.
What is a Booster (Account Reset)?
At HyperTicks, a Booster functions as an account reset. It allows you to manually restore your evaluation account to its original starting conditions whether the account is active in drawdown, or breached.
When you activate a Booster:
Your account balance is partially reset or reset to the initial starting amount (depending on the booster percentage).
Your subscription period and renewal date remain unchanged.

What is an Account Renewal?
An account renewal is part of your active subscription and occurs automatically every 30 days, unless canceled before your billing date.
When your account renews:
Your subscription is extended for another 30-day period.
If your account is still in good standing, your trading progress continues with no interruptions.
If the account is in breach at the time of renewal, it will automatically be reactivated and reset to its initial conditions.
📝 Note: A renewal will not reset your account unless your account is breached. In that case it resets automatically but without manual action or additional cost.
💬 HyperTicks is not liable for actions taken in error, such as accidental resets or confusion between features. If you're unsure about which option to use, reach out to our support team at support@hyperticks.com for guidance.
